Cura print thin walls
WebDec 22, 2024 · i used the official cura version 4.6 and when the print thin walls option is enable, the printer slice the walls that are thinner than the nozzle line width and that's great but as you probably know, the downside is that official cura does a pretty bad job while filling gap between walls (not a smooth line but a zig-zag- kind of gap filling...) WebEither enable 'print thin walls' in the slicer or fix the model (non-manifold? normals inverted?). ... PLA, mi configs in Cura, almost everything, and I can’t make any more prints with my machine, any suggestions? What it happens it’s that the PLA gets a form like a spring in the nozzle and doesn’t melt properly.

WebJul 25, 2024 · If I set the "print speed" in Cura to 20 mm/s (normally 60 mm/s), the outer wall speed is reduced from 30 mm/s to 10 mm/s. The result is quite good. If I leave the "print speed" at 60 mm/s and adjust only the outer wall to 10 mm/s, it's still quite good. So it seems like an acceleration thing. WebCura's wall thickness was set to 0.8mm. I increased the designed thickness to 0.8 and they printed.
