WebNov 12, 2024 · One thing people talk about is power. Yes a carb will make more full throttle power then a multiport fuel injection setup. Carb benefits from charge cooling which is the reason they make slightly more power. The nice thing is throttle body injection units like the Holley Sniper also benefit from charge cooling. WebAug 31, 2024 · It doesn't fit well in the engine bay (it hits the cowl bracing) and IMHO is quite ugly, even if you clean up and pare down the wiring. The Sniper/FiTech units look like a 4 barrel carb and fit like one. They take to tuning quite a bit better than the OEM. Personally I went with a FiTech and ditched the EEC setup.

But it's still good advice to call Holley to double check. For comparison though, we sell them (Sniper, FiTech, MSD, etc) with the expectation that customers will be installing them on stock 150-175 crank hp 302's in their Early Broncos.
