Floorboard high beam switch
WebJan 9, 2012 · 183 Posts. Discussion Starter · #1 · Jan 9, 2012. This seems pretty trivial but I've had to fix the floorboard dimmer switch about four times since I got my CJ back in October. The problem seems to be that the screws are the incorrect size and so the dimmer can wobble around under foot and it keeps breaking the connection with the pigtail. The idea of the toggle switch on the dash and as Jwhit suggested add two relays to the circuit, one for high beams and one for low beams. Make sure to use a single double throw switch ...
